Description
Hi Everyone.
To finish this visit, I'll end with 3 color shots.
I've been to all your galleries, and tried to sit for a long while, and commune with at least a representative sample of your works. I wish, wish, wish I could do more, but I'm too slow (and write too long)...But I so love what I see. I love being here.
I have to leave (for health reasons), but I hope to be back next month. And to the new visitors---I'll get to you next time, I promise!
You're all so grand to me when I return!
Let these color shots give back my thanks!
Till next time...
love and peace

Mark, first of all allow me to say what a bitter sweet post this was today from you. The reason being that I am thrilled to have you share 3 photos, but I also realize with you sharing these three that it means you will be leaving us for a while. You're health is most important of all and I'm grateful for you taking the time to not only post your work, but to write such kind notes. This colorful capture is truly a site to behold as it is a real treat for the eyes. While the colorful buildings in the background are eye catching, the thing I notice most is how the lovely trees manage to dominate this image. This is one of those photos I plan on coming back to visit over and over to fully enjoy.

A really inspiring shot, Mark; the soft yellow of the trees gently caress my eyes and draw them up to the glorious upthrust of the assorted buildings. The lines of the buildings are so lovingly limned with light (say that three times fast!)...it takes an artist to make buildings appear to have so much soul. Thank you, and get better so you can come back and give us more of your vision!

Here it is again! The buildings provide such a wide variety of styles and textures and mood, and then there's this quiet line of trees, all so similar to each other, anchoring the composition. Like with your b&w boat, you've found a way for your image to be centered in the midst of ... not exactly chaos, but perhaps overload of some sort. Wonderful!

You bring joy and beauty with your visits and beautiful photos, Mark. Love the fullness of these vibrant trees and the contrast against the blue/violet buildings. Also I like to see nature holding its own against the massiveness of all that glass, concrete, and steal. Be well, my friend, and look forward to your next visit.

OH GOSH! What a astonishing capture. To me, it is one of your very best, Mark. It is so beautiful, that it takes my breath away. The colors are wonderful and everything is so clear and so clean. Now I wish I was there at that moment.

WONDERFUL IMAGE

Good lawd, a medley of geometric forms, most of them rectangular in nature, greet the eye in this exquisite portrait of man's contribution to the Windy City, Mark. And the warm line of trees, different in their natural setting, adds sharp contrast to the artificiality of the image. Stellar clarity, color, lighting effects and texture abound.
