Description
"Geese at Nightfall"
As I was returning home from work last night I noticed this GAGGLE OF GEESE in a nearby shallow pond. Fortunately, I had one of my cameras in the car. As you can see, it was in those last few moments of light before night settles in.
More detail visible in full size.
Hand held: 1/4 second. The little bit of light on the grass was from the interior light of my car shining through the window.
No postwork except sizing to meet Renderosty requirements.

Steve, Actually, they are quite large birds. They are similar in size to a turkey. Approximately 24-30 inches as an adult. They probably weight 15+ pounds. Jim

Congrats on ur 45th anniversary and this came out just beautiful and may i add on the hummers they like to stay close to wooded or forest ares and i am surrounded by both so very easy to pull them in that is the key to most.

Thank you for commenting on my 1st pic ever lol :) , and actually I don't think I did anything special to get the mirrors reflecting, as far as I remember all I did was just hiding the front wall, when doing that pic. Nice work on handheld shot here :)
