Description

... FOR PERIL!! Nothing fancy, just trying out Reality/LuxRender on a set I put together a few months ago but never polished off until now. There's no post work here other than a the logo. So, I don't mind Reality so far. Good for outdoor lighting, but it is slow. This one baked for 20 hours and got to 3,200 samples per pixel or so. Perhaps when LuxRender uses GPU/OpenCl a little better it'll be more feasible for me to use. As animations go, I can't spend 20 hours baking a single frame. *1080p version is over at DeviantArt.

Don't ya just hate hecklers ? at least the Troll isn't throwing rotten fruit ! I was thinking about getting Reality 3 for Poser, but IMHO this looks flat and I think for a fraction of the time, you could achieve a much better result with the native Poser lighting, although some of the promo pix look ace, maybe they cheated and used Max and V-ray ?...hmm, what to do now ? Anyhow Pete nice to see some BEIP action again. ~Cheers~
