Description
I recently had new countertops installed in my kitchen. It was nothing short of a miracle; I've only been talking about it for about 5 years. The guys who did the work were great; were in and out in about 6 hours. I've since painted the back splash and am having it tiled in a couple of months. Well worth the wait---and the mess!!
Oh--top right is before, left bottom is after. Also had a new sink and faucet put it while they were at it!!

I wish I had that kind of know how or skills... Every time I'm fixing something, I check out youtube first then cross my fingers. 6 hours is fast.... Aloha

The new countertop is a great improvement! You would make your kitchen much brighter and make it feel larger if you painted those cupboards white or off-white. Then add a dog or a cat sitting on the floor to the left of the sink, lol.

How fortunate you are to have someone do it that fast. Many contractors take days or even weeks to remodel and in the meanwhile your house is all torn apart. You capture the chaos well with this photo montage. Your finished kitchen looks very nice. I am glad it was completed quickly. To Goodolboy: ...a backsplash is the wall just behind the countertop where the water or food can splash up on the wall. :)
