Description
Boccia ist die italienische Variante des Boule-Spiels, bei dem es darum geht, seine eigenen Kugeln möglichst nah an eine kleinere Zielkugel zu platzieren bzw. die gegnerischen Kugeln von dieser wegzuschießen. Boccia wird auch als Präzisionssport bezeichnet.
In Berlin sieht man diesen Sport immer häufiger.

Bocce is the Italian version of bowling game in which the objective is to place his own balls as close as possible to a smaller target ball, or knock away the opponent's balls out of this. Boccia is also known as Precision Sports.
In Berlin you can see this sport more and more.

As Jean said, we call that "pétanque"; the word comes from 2 provencal words: pieds (feet) and tanqués (together and tied to the ground; am I clear?!) Millions of people play that game in France and there are clubs, contests, championships... Of course, you will find more players in the south, because of weather. It is always funny to hear the comments of these afficionados...

Erinnert mich an meine Kindheit, da haben wir das sehr oft gespielt. Finde ich gut, dass es langsam wieder kommt! Ist ein schönes Spiel an frischer Luft. Hm ich glaube ich gehe gleich mal bei Amazon nachschauen ;-)
