Description
I used four lights to light this shot. 48cm Ring Light (65W) as fill-light to get catch lights in his eyes, two Canon Speedlite 580EX II flashes in 2 meter high strip boxes for the rim lights and a Yongnuo YN560 Speedlite for the main light, placed above him, pointing down.

I think the lighting is generally outstanding, but I do find his eyes a little lifeless.

I only realised after the shoot that he had contact lenses in. Not sure whether that affected the light in his eyes? Thanks for the feedback though

wonderful portrait! was just thinking I can see his c lenses and the ringflash of course love how you lit the fabric

Thanks Angora. I did take the lines out originall, but it looked... odd. So I left them in :)
