Description

I haven't posted anything for a lo-o-o-ng time. But I decided to try to model Von Braun's 1952 Round-the-Moon spaceship. http://www.rogersrocketships.com/UserFiles/Image/RRS_New_Docking_Bay_Images/DB_009_Round_the_moon_ship2.jpg I couldn't find a great deal of reference online, and what there was was often contradictory - in the arrangement of the windows in the personnel sphere, in the placement of the radio dish and the solar mirror mercury boiler, even the number of engines! So I had to make some aesthetic choices. Anyway. Next, import it into Bryce and do something with it I suppose.

Excellent work, as always. Quite accurate to most sources I've seen. Have you looked at Starbase1's build thread over on Foundation 3D? http://www.foundation3d.com/forums/showthread.php?t=12530
