Description
Last week, I've been to Aalen-Elchingen attending the last week of 2013's Idaflieg summer meeting. We tried some flow visualization using wool tuft as well as paint at the fuselage nose. However, I'd like to post this capture of the Twin in a very steep turn. The quality of the image is a bit poor but it has been taken under considerable load factors as well as wind loads. As the tuft on the canopy indicates, there is almost no yawing - meaning that they experienced at least 4 gs. Personally, I was not on board this time but it was me to press the trigger grabbing this shot out of the video stream - and it was my camera mounted on the tail fin.
