Description

Plain landscape render with inspiration from Danish painter Peder Mørk Mønsted - I liked his idea with the character partially in the shade, and not highlighted which would be the obvious choice. Focus on the lighting and treedesign (Onyx). Vue render with levels adjustments etc. in PS. *** UPDATE *** Made a partial render with the foreground swallow a little moved, should more obvious what it is :) The bird is from Ken Gilliland/Songbird Remix series. This is a wonderful piece of art! I too, was momentarily confused by the foreground object until I realised it was a swallow and the swallow reflection. I just wonder if if might have been cleaner (clearer) placed differently and away from the line of sight of the lily pad? But this is a very minor criticism indeed. The effect of the whole image is fantastic and so peaceful. A new favourite for me!

Really well done Lars...the sense of stillness is well conveyed,and the light and atmo are exceptional! As for the object that Don mentioned,I believe he is referring to the swallow(or swift?) in the lower centre,which did take some close inspection on my part! Nicely done all around and a fave!
