found a butterfly that seemed to be glued to the pavement at first I thought it was tired it sat completely still and even waited for me to rush home to get a macro lens just as I started to worry, the sun came out and it began to flutter & flew away... it's official! they must be solar energized?!! ;-D BG is hideous (those are smooth! tiles) of course cropped it a bit original underneath, with two antennae think it's Vanessa cardui http://www.vlindernet.nl/fotoalbum.php?vlinderid=1087&fotoid=15990&soort=vlinder ZOOOOOOOM..... and it will get bigger ;-D and furrier!

I love your description that it waited, I once saw a hawk in a park about a mile from my home and had not brougth my camera, I raced home, and even grabbed a a diet coke from the fridge and when I got there it was gone so I walked around a bit and found it and lucky for me it had moved into a lower tree I was able to shoot about 4 pretty good shots til it flew off, and I sort of had that same thought that it has somehow waited on me,,, then said ok get your shots I am busy here .. :) beautiful image!!!
