after 7 years i'm finally getting around in adding some info on this page. never really thought about doing it. i have been a member here since July 15th 2006, and have learned alot from fellow artists. i would have about 1300 images or so posted but have deleated many of my first pieces. and still consider myself a developing artist at this wonderful site. i'm 56 years old this year "2013" and was born in North Dakota. i have lived in Colorado since 1967 and enjoy this place alot. my stepfather was in the air force and we lived in Bermuda after North Dakota for a few years before coming here where he got stationed.. and so much enjoy many of the finest artist in the world who post here.. love you all and your amazing friendships we share.. lol Steve
i enjoy working with poser, i have such a dinosaur version i use, (p6) wish i had poser 2012 at least. i also use photoshop 7 for most of my work i post here. but more so photography is my main passion, just hope to get a camera again someday.

Horrifying...an old Hammer Studios Film on steroids. (Would have loved to see the face that once covered that skull.) Not sure what happened with the "bashing"...on one hand, I sometimes find the politeness factor on this site almost too much - I think people are afraid to offer any criticism at all, either because (A) they think there will be retaliation, or (B) they don't know how to offer constructive criticism. I got in a bit of trouble myself recently because I told an artist that I didn't care for the outfit (a matter of personal taste)- but thought the model wearing it was quite stunning. I think most of our works have strengths and weaknesses (in all honesty however, I can't see how you could improve on this one - though perhaps adding an evil red glow to the girl's eyes and a bit of blood dripping from the corner of her mouth might up the eeriness factor), and I think it's possible to offer constructive criticism without being rude or mean about it. One of the problems I have is the "rating" system, which is an all or nothing deal. We should be able to rate images on several different factors, which is why I neither give nor allow ratings anymore. Anyway...this is one scary picture. You've done well presenting a gothic horror scene.

This is certainly a powerful scene and very well crafted. The ghosts and background are extremely effective. I like it a lot I note the conversation about critical comments and my view is that we should listen very carefully to constructive criticism and use it to better our work. I am happy to offer my thoughts on what I think would help an image but I do hesitate because of the fear of offending someone Many comments here are vacuous and quite frankly meaningless in many cases. That is not constructive and often it appears like flattery.

Super work as always man. My dog ZoSo would get along with her just fine, he's always dragging Coyote and Jackrabbit Skulls and Bones Home and leaving them all over the Yard. Peace

The boneyard is not my favourite place to be, but you made it very impressive with these skelettons and that weird lady. I don't know where she's up to, but with that knive she can do awful things! A beautiful rendered image with a great mood. Gr.Rudy.

Excellent work! I love that skull. I wish I could win the Megabucks and buy that condo of Rene and Ute's so they could get on with their lives. Unfortunately I can't even afford to play the lottery much less help them with anything but love and positive vibes.
