Description

This is a logo for an organization we are starting on campus to try to prevent child abuse and to help people who are grown up but are still dealing with abuse. The logo is supposed to be strong, because CARE is a gentle name, but we still want to attract strong people to this organization, who will fight for innocents. The logo also has to xerox well, so that we can make cheap fliers and signs. Please give me feedback on this logo and be critical. Does it communicate protecting someone from abuse? Does it look original, or is it too much like something that you have seen before? If you saw this on a wall would you stop and read what was written under it, or would you keep on walking? What would make this image stronger?

You prolly need stronger typography. Personally I would walk past this, but that is no slight on the logo itself. I would change the txt style and placement. Another small thing is the woman's (?) arm on his right looks a little weird.... Good logo tho, no doubt. :)
