Description

Maya and Vicky were born and grown up in Topeka Kansas, miles away from a beach and they never were there before. So we organized a trip to Scheveningen with our caravan. There is a nice campsite in Kijkduin. The girls sleep in the caravan, Jason and I used the tent. Very cosy. The girls loved the wide sand beach, the open sea and all the people. Those strange pools are placed there to remind little children where their mommy is sitting in case they got lost in the crowd. They have to memorize the picture on the pool. The strange forms in the far distance are oiltanks in the seaport of Rotterdam. The image is a bit shaking by the heat in the air and the telelens effect. The girls were laying in the warm sand when there was a large seagull approaching them to find out if they have something to eat for him. The ladies got a bit scared by the big bird so close by. But the bird did no harm and discovered soon that there was nothing to grab, so he went an other direction.
