Description

Let me present Futte a little Cairn Terrier, we are babysitting for a couble of days. He is a gentle and very loving little fellow. So he is easy to handle, but a very hard challenge in a leach, so I dont dare letting Per walk with him. You need to be fast to grab him, or the leach might break, if you hear a car, as he has no fear for cars and he gets totally nuts, when he sees a rolling car and he wants to attack it. Even a jogger makes him go mad, So I need to have eyes in the neck too, while walking him. I am totally exhausted, when I come home after such a walk. Have a beautiful day/evening. Weather was very lovely today too. Mostly sunny and little wind and around 20C

I love this breed! I may have already told you I have owned three of them. They needs very firm hand, as you are discovering ! Hehe!

Yes thank you, Andrea. :-) That is why I spelled the words "Cairn Terrier" right today. :-D But I never thought that such a little dog can pull such a big ME forward, so I am almost running HAHAHA! Maybe because the leach is not sitting around his neck, but his body. :)

Helle, I was thrilled to see that you have another little puppy to raise.Futte, Is adorable and I am so happy that he has such a loving new home. You certainly seemed to have some challenges on your hands trying to teach him a lot of new things. Of course that is half the fun of having a new hat. You might try getting a mesh harness for him, as that is what I end up using on my big girl dogs to train them. The mesh harness doesn't hurt them and it allows you more control over them.

Oh oh oh!!! :) Oh gosh, Helle, he is just adorable! How old is he? I know how stubborn terriers can be. :P Fortunately Mandy is old, and doesn't want to chase everything in the world (just squirrels and cats and chipmunks and rabbits!) ... they're "sight hounds" and bred to chase what moves! Of course Mandy is a West Highland White, but they were bred from Carins, so Mandy and Futte are cousins! LOL! The good news is that they don't weigh very much. When Mandy gets more stubborn than I would like, I just pick her up and she has no say about it! :P It sounds like your boy is a handful! I can't wait to meet him! :D My friend, I am so delighted! :)

Mentioned it in yeaterdays upload, but I should have said it in this upload too and now I have changed some of the text, Tara. I am sorry that I didnt make it clear, that we only have him till saturday. We are only babysitting Futte. No more pets. That is something Per and I agreed with.

He's a cutie; like grandkids, you can enjoy him for a little while and then give him back to his people! Excellent portrait!

ooops, see this now, sorry!!! THX for introducing him!! adorable doggy!! lovely colour! poor you... or leach might break?? whahaha (I see he has ears, doesn't he listen??) is what I meant... fearless!! LOL sounds a lot like a west highland white (a cousin) those are ENORMOUS dogs, hidden in a rather small body ours used to attack the biggest dogs as a pup (not appreciated here, doggies usually stared down, utterly surprised ;-D) you needed to explain like everything that was not appreciated, not done ;-D never afraid of fireworks either... would have loved to go after that as well love the feel of the body, is quite strong
