Description

How the time flies. Had hoped to post this some ten day's ago as a follow up, and thanks to those that sent their Birthday wishes for Dad. Well, I suppose better late then never. :) Believe this was taken the following morning very early to avoid as many reflections as possible. Unfortunately that also means the Trolley trains that ran through "Candy Mountain" were not running as yet. That is Draconis on the left with his hood on, it was December. :) A great weekend to all! To the kind souls that leave their mark whether a comment, rating, or save the image as a fav, you are very much appreciated, thank you!!! Thank you all that viewed my last image below.

Reminded me of the old hobo song "Big Rock Candy Mountain." It became popular in the 1940s and 1950s when a sanitized version was recorded by Burl Ives. Its a great picture but I'm getting diabetes just looking at it.

Yes, wysiwyg is right. I remember that song and now I'll be singing it all day, and I love the lollies and all sweeties, and at my age I don't give a fig about sugar overload. Super photograph. The buzzing of the bees in the cigarette trees, the soda water fountain, the lemonade springs and the bluebirds sing - on Big Rock Candy Mountain.
