Description

On the pic with the sign warning we were all told to at least put warnings out almost everyone has been robbed here in the country seems when the corn has grown tall we are all hid so they come in from the big city to grab what they can and most are druggies so at least if a warning is out we have the right to shoot them i mainly worry when i am away about my dogs.

That's so sad..so sorry that is not a good way to live. Are these the flowers you'll put on their grave?

BTW I have a house in Mexico..there you learn how to keep the thieves out without a gun because they are not legal there, unfortunately you also end up locking yourself in. Sadly, I'm afraid the USA is becoming the same...

Locking yourself in that is...if I owned a gun I'd be shooting people all the time lol!

beautiful flowers and photo. the big problem is people getting into trouble for shooting would be burglars. I read in Brazil that people with long are having thieves with knifes coming up and cutting their hair off and running away

A very beautiful picture Brandy. We in the UK don't even think about guns (ok there may be an odd few) because our laws won't allow us to have one except under very strict circumstances!

In Australia, like Jeff said, we also never hear of guns or gun crime. It's soooo rare. I guess there are the illegal ones out there in the bank robbers hands and the like, but if you shook down a random 50,000 people I doubt you would even find one! People in the country like you would have rifles and the like, but that's it. It's your right to have guns in your country that is very much a double edge sword IMHO, because it also means the next guy has one to use against you. Now your country is saturated with them. That's just my opinion, but I can see why you need to have them 'now'. It's such a shame.

Beautiful cluster of roses. The exposure was perfect to show the intensity of color. Well done. I hope you never have to use your gun to protect self and property, but I support your right to do so.

Strange how two similar and close countries can develop so differently. In Canada you cannot use deadly force in protection of property or possessions, only for self protection where your very life is at risk, and you'd better be able to prove it!

again... lovely image and startled from what you wrote... and the more that they come in from the city. OMG!!! what a horror story, soooo sorry to 'hear' that!!! and you don't want to shoot 'em, too messy? ;-) I know that in bars here they often leave some money in the cash register, in order to prevent damage and having the place turned upside down. (hint?? some $$$$$$$ at an obvious place? so they can leave immediately, in case....?) I know the feeling though. 1 of the reasons we moved here. after 26 years our once decent neighborhood had turned into junk city. seen a murder, from our window, 3 times. 2 shootings (and if they at least had been good at that, but they hit the guy that was sweeping the street as well), 1 stabbing. so we never left the house together at that point... cuz of our rabbits!! asked for bullet proof glass in all windows and they thought it was a joke. well, it was... sort of?? once I heard myself say: "when will they stop that stupid shooting?!!" in a very annoyed way and knew it was time to move!! nm our lovely home. when we had the chance to move here (and become the neighbors of my mother's neighbors), we did!! Cuz of the 'very open border policy' Holland is getting invaded by people from east Europe nowadays. with very criminal intentions. and habits. my heart goes out to you... sinc. hope that all will change for the better!!! (it did in our old neighborhood, matter of policy??! and police actions?)

Not a great word is it Brandy, the Human one.. Simple things like these beautiful Rose's and the old ways we lived where folks cared and doors were left open were much nicer.. I miss that.. Great shot. Rob
