Description


I believe I got these models from a NASA site years ago. I never used them because they had many problems. I decided to fix them up so I could do this picture. I had to convert the Saturn V to OBJ and map it. The crawler had to be assembled correctly and the gantry had to have several floors added to it. The VAB (Vehicle Assembly Building) had to have much added to it, and I used some Boolean subtraction to correct mistakes. The scene is copied from a photo, with many background details left out. Poser 6/Bryce 6.3.

Aha, so that's how they faked the moon-landing...NASA's CGI department, um, in the Sixties???.... ;-) Looks like time well spent working this up. The real thing of course is simply awesome as well....
