Description

I will be gone from September 6th/7th until September 15th. Archery season has opened and I will be with my friend, away from civilization with dreams to fill my freezer with elk, deer, bear and whatever else crosses my path. I know that there are those of you who may disagree with what I'm doing and I respect your feelings. by and large, though, I wish you all a great week with lots of great art and comments. Take care my friends Mike ps I will have my various cameras with me, so even on the extreme off-chance I do not get anything, I will have some great photos of the areas. BTW: I am a firm believer of eating what I kill - I do not go for the trophy; I go for the meat.

not into hunting myself Mike, but i did not hold that against anyone, only the ones who kill exotic animals for their skins, like tigers and such my friend. enjoy and see ya when you return my friend.

As long as you eat what you kill, I have no problem with you hunting. I think there should be a special place in hell for those who kill an animal and just leave it to rot, or just take antlers or other trophies, though.

As long as you eat it. But its harder to shoot animals with a camera than with a bow or rifle. Have a good time and stay safe.

Best of luck to you Mike... I, speaking just for me, have no problem with killing to eat. It's all good as long as you eat what you kill and you respect the spirit of the animal as you would any creature of Nature. Take care out there.

Not a problem with me, Mike! Man has been hunting for meat for many thousands of years. And it takes considerably more skill to hunt with a bow than a 30.06 with a 12-power scope. Killing just for the fun of it is a whole different thing. We will, of course be looking forward to some great photos, buddy! Good hunting!

i agree with eekdog.i bet you are not like one of my former employerz.azzhole came in the hunting club (only people with money),and because the azz was deaddrunk he hit the deer in the leg or somewhere, they had to hunt the poor animal down for 2 days. i am convinced you do it with greater respect have fun bro. and watch the "newbies" lol.

I love all animals, but here in Mi, we have too many deer. There are a lot of hunters that are donating the process deer to the food banks, Which is a good idea for those who like to hunt. but do not like to eat it. I wish you luck on your hunt. bring us back some photos. of the woods, etc.
