Description
Not that she needs locking up! I got 2 shots of this old mill building from Curbar edge top. One normal, one infrared taken minutes apart. This mill was used as the "Prison" in the Colditz TV series from decades ago I have been told. That why I gave it the title. I have meant to do a duel shot of the same subject for a while. So hear they are, the Infrared looks bleak and scarier I think?

HaHa.....some would no doubt disagree. Grindleford - there is a small place in Shropshire named Rindleford - on the river Worfe. I wonder if anyone knows the the origin of the lovely word rindle. What a truly spectacular setting. Yes I agree about the eerie feel of the first pic. I remember the fine film Colditz too. Thankyou for posting:-)

Indeed yes! Although mills were pretty horrid places to work and very like prisons in a way. Most of my grandmother's sisters-in-law lost fingers working in them.

For intensified bleakness the top one wins for me; both have an abundance of beautiful foliage that seems to be trying to reclaim the building. Maybe that's a good thing? Excellent shots and comparison, Kev.
