Hi,
My home is in The Netherlands.
In my working days I designed industrial electronics. Now I'm on pension and fill my days with 3D Artwork and Photography. I create my art in DAZ Studio 4.10 and postwork is made in PSP X7. Sometimes I write a book, mostly a novel. Although I use DAZ Studio for several years, I'm still learning every day.
My characters have names and sometimes I'm the photographer Jason Raages, who registrates all their short adventures. Most of the time is that in the 3D apartment where they live, sometimes in my photostudio and now and then outside in the real world.
I hope you will browse my gallery and be pleased.
Be welcome to leave a comment or a tip to improve my work.
I read and write English, German and Dutch of course.

This is a darn good attempt at "realistically" blending your models into the photo. I especially like how well you dappled the shadows from the foliage onto the clothing. And they are positioned convincingly inside the scene. Still, to my eye, they are clearly photoshopped into the image. It is hard to pinpoint exactly what gives it away - Maya in particular seems "cutout" rather than blended into the environment. Her hues and luminosity are slightly off from her surroundings, which perhaps is what makes her stand out; and of course the clothing for the most part does not appear real (altho I must say I like her outfit). You know I seek total plausibility when it comes to "realism" so these critiques are perhaps a bit petty. I only make these observations because I think you are very close to the goal, and because I have great respect for your photographic and DAZ skills.

Nothing is petty Fitz. What me warries most are the dark areas on Maya's skin and the non-natural trousers of Jason. Maybe it is better to choose for a more overall lighting and less for spotlights. Spots must be kept for an accent in the free nature. We keep working on it and all the remarks including yours are valued and will polish my skills in the end. The spots of the foliage were quite a job and I start more then once all over again. What at the beginning looks like "a piece of cake" image turned out to be a serious struggle for realism. GRIN.

The shadows are beautiful.

Very nice blend. Maybe adding more cloth like textures to the clothes would help with the realism?
