Description
I was just going into the grounds where the car show and food was. I saw these girls talking and the one on the limb was laying on it but fall off before I got the camera ready to take the shot.
I still like this image.
the tree is a live oak. it is old.

well, I'm going back, because of all the pictures I missed: This one's from September. This is a monumental shot, Jock. The tree is so powerful, and it makes a canopy for the girls, and it defines the whole shot. It's glorious, with all that light on it, while it casts a large peaceful shadow. Really nicely composed, and I love the flags in the background, and on the tree, etc. It's lovely how the grass is behind the tree, and the limb that the girls are sitting on is in the shadow. Beautifully seen. Very touching.
