Description
Firetruck 152 that was buried in the Twin Tower rumble, destroyed, but the water tanks still worked to help with fires.
They had a fundraisers for the firemen that died and became chronically ill working in ground zero. We had to wear their gear to climb stairs ...simulating the rescue of those caught in stairwells.
In Memory of all those who lost their lives that terrible day. We shall never forget.

No one could feel the pain more than those of you from NY. Even though I lost 4 relatives in the second tower, that day we we're all one. I have more if you wish to have one. It was hard, at my age, feeling the way I did, to have to climb the stairs that those of the NY Fire Dept. had to do that day. When this fire truck rolled in, everyone cried, it's such a symbol, the ashes ... I felt I was with the spirits of that horrific day. Thank you for your comment. I hope next spring to make it to the museum .... Hugs my dear friend.
