Description
The plaque reads 'Russian 42, captured on 17th October 1854 by the British Forces during the attack on the Redan Fortifications. Crimean War.'

When I see so a cannon, I always think of Baron von Münchhausen, riding on a cannonball. Lovely old relic from past times.
