BIO
Because we value our privacy at home, I'm not going to say too much here about my personal life. Those that know me, already know probably too much about me. :) I am a programmer by trade and work for a company in Washington DC (even though I live in Florida). I've been programming almost as long (if not longer) than I've been doing art.
In 1988 or so, I started drawing on the C-64 which only had 64 colors (of which only 4 could be used in a certain place). There was a program called Koala Paint that I used to draw simple images with. I dreamed then of getting a 24 bit board I saw in the magazines, even though it was $2400 and I didn't even know what computer they were for. Then I got the Amiga and DCTV. Millions of colors! Yeah! Though it had troubles, it was still awesome to work with and I have found few paint programs that work as well as that one did, though Painter is pretty close. Then I finally got the elusive 24 bit computer (the IBM compatible) and I was on my way, though I still miss the old days of Deluxe Paint and DCTV.
I work in 2D and 3D with an emphasis on 2D. My work includes celebrity portraits, down home scenes, and fantasy. I also lean more toward family art so that I can show the kids, not because I have anything against the more adult works. My mediums include Poser, Bryce/Vue, Painter and Photoshop with a touch of LW (still learning on that one).
Thanks so much for viewing this page and I hope you will enjoy my work. On behalf of the whole family, have a great day...

214 objects? wow - you beat me! Very beautiful - but no words can express my feelings! I like it.

I find this whole concept from beginning to end - not only phenomenally awe-inspiring - but one of the best displays of what a little imagination can do when in the mind of a true artist like yourself. From seeing nothing more than a 'mirror' in 'free stuff', you visualized an entire render that as Sacred Rose so aptly said - "resembles an animation cell from a yet to be released movie". This may indeed have been inspired by the story of "Snow White" my friend - but your version runs circles around any concept ever released so far. Those curtains are magnificent, and the face in the 'magic mirror' one of pure magical essence, right down to the blue mist. Those sparkles emerging from the caldron are beautifully handled, and the fire below is as realistic as it gets. This is by far, your very best work Shadow, and I don't mean to subtract any accolade from your past renders, but this one is ingenious. My highest praise - gorgeous work!

Um...I agree with the WOOOOOOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWW!!!!!!!'s up there! Dang Shadow, this in one hell of a fine render. The lighting is superb and the effects are beyond description!!! That face in the mirror just oozes mystery and magic! And your evil queen is simply perfect. All together this is simply one amazing render. These Disney inspired pics belong in a book as illustrations for all the world to see!!!!!!

Most excellent image, the eye for detail and continuity are astounding. The fullness of the image with all of the surroundings is great. The texturing and lighting too are wonderful. A+ image SW! :)

I love the splashing water effect. That sounds the bearing stellar lights tear away from a well of magic. They like blowing bubbles. Tender and terror, wonderful image.

Its fantastic to see artwork from a story. it tells the story and give such a pleasing support to the words. You must get your work out there if you already haven't. I am very interested if you are working in that market. Again, inspiring.
