Description

yesterday's night work starring the fine floterbot by Stefan Morrell (aka Stonemason), a Milky Way image by ESO and a glowing stone created in Vue ... Thanks a lot for taking a peek and have a fine weekend :) I was asked in another forum for the story behind this image and thus is how I imagine it: Originally the floterbot it was build for the planetary inspection use. But this one left orbit due to a function error of the nozzle and went on a journey to the far reaches of the universe. But that happened a long time ago and now he is sort of space junk. The energy cells are burned out long ago so it is his fate to drift in empty space until he is captured by gravity or collides. Therefore he looks dented and pretty gnawed by time. Much he could tell us of the vastness and solitude of space between galaxies, of coldness and lack of gravity but also of the surreal beauty of the distant stars. ..
