My most popular weapon of choice, the battle axe.
Made the mesh in Wings3D and rendered in Daz Studio.

I am very impressed with the subtle details like the etching on the blade and the neat detail at the end. I guess I would call that a pommel stone... but I'm not sure. Did you consider maybe adding some detail or a different metal texture to the ball? That might change the appearance, but a gold ball -- or a blood-red stone -- could add a sense of drama to the piece. By the way, I'm really impressed with your lighting! Great job.

When I was playing D&D back in the early 80's I designed an axe which was remarkably similar to this one. If I were any good in Hexagon or other design application this would be really close to what I would have done. Thank you very much for saving me the work (LOL). You did a really NICE job.

Thanks for your comments. I have completed a sword and axe for this set and will be working on the shield and spear shortly. The sphere can be any metal or crystal as all it needs is a shader. I will take on board your ideas and include more details to the sphere - maybe even make it into a skull. Once again thanks for your interest and feedback.
