BIO-HAZARD
Born in King's Cross,NSW Australia. My parent's were German and split up when I was 12 months old, unfortunately my Father died young, so what ! . I have liked drawing & painting for-ever. When I saw an Amiga 500 with a ray-traced juggler, I was hooked !!! I left High School then joined a Rock'n'Roll band and toured the East Coast of OZ as Road crew. Then I played Lead & Rhythm guitar in my own band's, EASTERN UNDERGROUND(Sydney), FLASHBACK (Noosa), SAXON DOG"S & STEEL RAIN (Gold Coast). I worked as a Cameraman at the Gold Coast Turf Club. And a lot of my "in-between" footage got beamed all over the Planet on Sky Channel, So if you're ever are in a TAB (betting agency Oz style) and see pic's of cloud's, pelican's or chick's tit's then you'll know, it was my footage !  I won a $5,000 scholarship for 3D Animation, at Silicon Studio's Training Center-Brisbane. Did a Multi-Media course at Kingscliff TAFE. Lightwave 8.5 is my choice of weapon, with Poser 6, Vue 6 Extreme and Zbrush 3. One day I will be doing 3D for a living...I hope ! You will find, that most of my art has a weird and twisted sense of humour to it, life's pretty straight without 'twisties' !Â
...Cheers fellow artists...Jeff :o)
UP-DATE:2011...WOOHOO...I made piccy of the day at E-on (Vue) and I'm stoked, my experimentation, persistance and learning new techniques paid off.

Nicely done. I love the ships and the detail on his uniform. Unfortunately, the position of his body is lost (cluttered up, if you will) by the placement of the spaceship behind him. If the silver ship were gone and there were a little more light (reflecting off the surface of the planet, perhaps?) this image would have a stunning impact. As it is, it's still very good and I definitely get a sense of space and silence from it. Well done.

Great scene, Jeff. Yes, I would be scared shitless.

Good one Jeff,it reminds me of a new Indie Franchise in the works called Ambrov X.

Very cool concept and well executed. I agree with mmitchell_houston. That second ship is superfluous and without it there might be a little stronger sense of isolation for the test subject. I'd still give it a 5 'cause the render is just so awesome.

it's just a minor glitch, nothing to worry about Great work

A extremely well done deep space scene and I noticed that the astronaut isn't smiling!

Space Travel isn't all what it's cracked up to up to be, a bit like the story of 'Humpty-Dumpty' ... that is one big spaceship, with another floating bit - which broke off accidentally - so where is the plasma that really works, when you need it ? hmmm, I don't agree with 'mmitchell_houston' - the Universive is definitely dark and not many light refractions in that void ! MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU ;)) BB

Intriguing concept; love the golden interior lighting on the background craft contrasted with the color of the planet below. Nicely done!
