Well placed with good lighting. The color is dramatic in the gray of the nest.

Very beautiful! Good blast of color. The thumbnail has better composition in my opinion since it just shows the egg and not the grass.

If you could understand the contrasting emotions I am feeling while viewing this right now... I am listening to some extremely fast and brutal heavy metal music, totally pumped up by the pounding rythm, yet this image makes me feel quite peaceful and calm at the same time LOL! Great picture Helen, it looks like something that could have been photographed in my own front yard, that sure makes it easy to relate too.
