Description

I intended no comment on imaging the US flag and the flag of a large food chain in the same frame. I just got a new lens and had to stop at this place on the way home and could not resist shooting with it - like wearing your shoes home from the shoe store perhaps?

That's a great shot. It seems a sad, but true depiction of at least one major aspect of the US.

Excellent shot. I don't know all flags, but it seems to me that this one belongs to McDonalds. I am not American, but it seems outrageous to be neighborly with the national flag for which so many GI died. Excuse my very bad English !

Nice lighting and superb sky. Very good compo. I could see not only a symbol of the US way of life, but of the US relationships between the Federal Government and any big private companies. Not particularly this one, of course.

I think the overlap you achieved is marvellous! Kind of symbolic in the overlap it helps cause in the waistlines of many Americans as well as my own!

You may not have intended it, but the symbolism is crystal clear. The U.S. has fallen to Mussolini-style korporatist fascism, due in no small part that our so-called "elected" officials are nothing more than a bunch of sleazy whores (no offense to honest sex workers) and TRAITORS who would sell the American people (and everyone else who isn't part of the 1%) to the oil companies in a heartbeat.. No wonder we call it CON-gress. Karl Marx was right....

Eh, my company used to fly it's flag right alongside the U.S. flag, state flag, and even flags for individual products we sold. Whatever you're proud to represent.

Nice shot. Factually speaking, they are both just colored cloths.
