Description

Three ferrets eating an interesting treat of "up milk" -- artificial coffee creamer. The name? Pygby is and "up Pyg" -- he always looks up and moves his head as if pointing upwards when he wants to be... up. Somewhere. And we forget how this happened, but this creamer became a favored treat. So much that others somehow picked "up" on it. The other reason for the photo is that Attu passed away at 1:25 AM on the 18th. We are not sure what was wrong with him, but we suspect a stroke. He'd been to the vet on Friday and checked out for "droopy tail" and hind-end weakness. The idea being he may have fallen off the couch or so and injured his back. The X-rays were fine. All seemed well until a VERY sudden change in demeanor (lethargy) and it was obvious that he was "checking out." Awan is lost. These two were from the same litter and had a special bond. The others will figure it out, but hopefully there are enough so that the loss is not too obvious. Just as we were examining Attu, his other bud jumped up and butted heads with him: Donna Kitty. She really bonded with the wee morons. Thanks for viewing.
