Opéra de Monteverdi: Il combattimento di Tancredi e Clorinda. Il combattimento di Tancredi e Clorinda English text in the first comment box; Les deux amants jouissent des raffinements de l'Orient, et passent des jours heureux. Mais bientôt, des rivalités se font jour entre les deux peuples, et la guerre menace. Pour éviter des massacres, des sages décident alors que chaque armée choisira son héros, et qu'un duel à mort les opposera pour décider de la victoire. This is such a lovely and tender scene. It looks so great in full size. The lighting is excellent and I like the little details you put into the scene. Everything seems to be happy and peaceful but I am afraid things will change soon for the two lovers. A wonderful work, Jean-Claude.
