Abreojos means "open eyes" in Spanish. I live on the tip of Baja California and Colorado before that.
2013 update. Had to go to work in the states since the crash of 2008. Speend my summers in ND working. Spring and summer in the southwest and winters home in Cabo. Got back into photography and am enjoying that far more than digital landscape programs for many reasons but mainly because it get me away from the computer and out in the world again!
Since I Started playing around with digital art several years ago and have created images I never thought I had the talent to create. I have learned from many great artist in this community since IÂ became a member IÂ believe back in 2002. Â Thanks for stopping by!

Well I don't usually go for photochopppping, but in this case I reckon you did a really good job.

If I hadn't said anything and this was the 1st post, would you have known it was chopped? I bet you wouldn't and that is the difference between a professional and a chopped job lol!

I saw this one first & then went back & looked at the original. I think the idea to add a more interesting sky background was a good one, but I think this background is too wispy & pale. The mountain is bold & dramatic & a bold & dramatic sky would work much better. As is, I prefer the original, despite the cloudless sky...

I like the original better. The view is completely focused on the mountain. Here There are too many clouds. Maybe 2 layers would have been enough. Less is sometimes more. But it was worth consideration and good made.

It is always a matter of taste especially when it comes to lighting. I also agree the first image is more interesting. BTW, when are you getting into TG3?
