Looking towards Bournemouth on the way back from Hengistbury Head Southbourne at late dusk.
for those interested, ISO 1000 f4.5 1/25 second hand held fairly dark.

Groynes always sound like some bad disease.

Nice. We have 1 groyne opposite my house. It's been there for about 30 years, and really seems to have stopped any erosion in it's tracks. It even widened the beach too!

Andrea will testify, the last time I did this high point of the groynes and beach, I was physically ill, back then i had no head for heights. After a trip to beachy head, that became a thing of the past as I confronted my demons. Lovely shot!
