Rendered for the PC Inspiration Contest—August 28, 2013 "THARK-n-Yosemite" USED: HDR ProSets Yosemite Pack One o.k.. I broke down and bought this set and had a chance to play last night. I must say it's not what I expected... In a way it's MUCH better. It is not a skyDOME.. it's a SPHERE and the ground plane is in the middle of the spere. ughhh.. I have a fear of heights and it makes me dizzy to work with it... I know.. i know... quit your tisk tisking.. lol... It silly for sure. I was unsure of how to use the ground plane since I couldn't find instructions anywhere. So I just played. DOF was fun to try and figure out. I am a huuuuuuuuge fan of DOF... and I found out I needed to add my own ground to be able to add DOF to the picture so my Thark was not FLOATING in mid air. Lights are included.. a DISTANT and an UBER ENV. I didn't add any extra lights... Anyway... I'm pretty happy with my render... and it only took 4 minutes to render with NO postwork to the picture needed... I only added my signature... For you newbies out there... this package is great... As well as the above perks... you have a 360 degree view of Yosemite to choose from to place your characters. I'm definately going to have to get more of these spheres... Just hope I can get over my fear of heights.. ughhh... I guess even a person working with DAZ day and night for a year can STILL learn new things... lol...
