I believe that an image should conduct a dialogue with the viewer. The more words necessary to explain the image, the weaker the messsage.
I make no claim to artistic skill. I'm like a kid with a box of crayons; but I lack the purity.
Considering the agenda of either wing to be folly, I represent what was once the center, BEFORE certain media bloviators claimed the mainstream for themselves.
Of our OWN universe, we are always the center.

And only two (working) vehicles on the whole planet! :-P Superb statement - we'd better wake up as a species before it's too late - if it already isn't...

Interesting!

Absolutely brilliant, James! This needs to be a poster.

Wrong, there are no jobs on Mars so the shortage of jobs there is maximum. As for "green" - a baby delivered prematurely often dies. "Green" rushed too fast will be full of wasteful mistakes that will delay the achievement of a truly sustainable world economy.

@62guy : Respectfully; It's you who are wrong. "Shortage" cannot exist without "demand". Dead (lifeless) planets don't need jobs or anything else. As to your "Baby" analogy: the "baby" we've already hatched is the one that's premature. We've given birth to a toxic technology, and tossed its dirty diaper in the closet. That closet is now full and the stink is becoming inescapable. And YES, that "baby" WILL die. But most "preemies" don't kill the entire planet on their way to NICU. Look around! From Hiroshima to Fukushima (pardon the irony), with a brief stop at KXL and the BP Oil Spill(s), This little piggy went to the morgue, and it's taking mommy and daddy along. Again, RESPECTFULLY as long as the majority of people embrace this "exactly backward" thinking, the "healthy green baby" will remain "a twinkle in mommy's eye".

Haste makes waste, that's been true forever.

@ 62 guy Not always. Fire Trucks, Ambulances, and ER doctors all act with great haste. Should we slow them down?
