Description
I've just spent a nice day today at the The Royal Melbourne Zoological Gardens. It's a beautiful place that was originally modeled on the London zoo when it was opened in Melbourne in 1862. I go there regularly with the class at work, but it's a different experience being able to wonder around at my own pace! Please zoom.

Hi Wayne. No he was inside and sitting in the dark, so I had to light him up myself. I try not to ever do this as it's in the animals face....but sorry.....errrrm yeah it was the only way I could get the shot! Andrew

I love these creatures; they're so prehistoric looking. I see them a lot in Mexico; one fell out of a tree right in front of me one day, kinda shook himself off and kept on going. And I didn't have my camera!!
