Jenny this is as very lovely egg. Must be something wonderful inside. Funny I was reading a story about some shipwrecked men and so far they have found mollusks and eggs to eat. :)

Thankyou Rob - yes it probably would and I was going to save it to post nearer Easter, but then I thought I'd have to hunt for ages to find it in my wonderful convoluted filing system, so it's here now:-)
