Description
Flame fractal using Apophysis and some post work
using a graphics program to enhance the coloring.
I couldn't decide on whether to use a white or black background so I compromised with some post work

Excellent work bob, you have blurred the space between fractal and abstract art with this piece.. it's easy for people to think that fractal art is merely automatic art but it can be so much more and no less than 3D art when creating and rendering along with post work. Do you keep a database of all your formulas? or do you just start from scratch in order to avoid any repetition?, that may sound a little contradictory bearing in mind we are talking about fractals where repetition is the backbone of it's existence, it can avoid variations on a theme unless one wishes it.
