after 7 years i'm finally getting around in adding some info on this page. never really thought about doing it. i have been a member here since July 15th 2006, and have learned alot from fellow artists. i would have about 1300 images or so posted but have deleated many of my first pieces. and still consider myself a developing artist at this wonderful site. i'm 56 years old this year "2013" and was born in North Dakota. i have lived in Colorado since 1967 and enjoy this place alot. my stepfather was in the air force and we lived in Bermuda after North Dakota for a few years before coming here where he got stationed.. and so much enjoy many of the finest artist in the world who post here.. love you all and your amazing friendships we share.. lol Steve
i enjoy working with poser, i have such a dinosaur version i use, (p6) wish i had poser 2012 at least. i also use photoshop 7 for most of my work i post here. but more so photography is my main passion, just hope to get a camera again someday.
Â
p.s. not sure how high of a res pic i'm using for this page. take care and thanks a million you all.

I think this one turned out nice, Steve. A lot of people seem to agree with me bro.

In that case, you should render smaller images ... I have that problem usually with hair ... Anyway it turns out fine and I like the dark mood of it !

Being a misfit is the way to be, can't have no fun just going along to get along, gotta buck the system. Render engines can sometimes be a pain, there are 2 Render engines in MB3D, a normal Raytrace and a Monte Carlo, the MC is far superior but takes forever to Render and Files are huge so I never use it for a project. Peace

I love it like it is, a stunning image and by knowing the file size and the difficulties, I like it even better! Great job on this. Gr.Rudy.

She's a gorgeous character and the outfit and BG are stunning. Hauntingly beautiful portrait even if you are unhappy with the final result!
drifterlee
Beautiful work, Steve. She does look like a little punk gal!

Nice sad Goth character.

I see no problems despite the "lower" quality (52ko it is limited). She is a beautiful gothic!

If this is your worst then you have nothing to worry about. It looks GREAT.
Pierrot_Lunaire

Actually Steve, despite the fact I don't like goth or pale skin, I would NOT call this your worst by any means. It appears fairly crisp - many of your uploads appear distorted (at least on my monitor), I think from being sized so large, or perhaps render at low settings. This one is crisp and clear compared to many. Love the background.
dreaming_banshee
It's a very cool ghostly goth image. I like it!

Duuuude..... Worst render?? I think not, buddy! This is a gorgeous gothic masterwork, Steve! Lots of lovely detail in this art - I can see why it would tax your system a bit! But it was well worth all the trouble! Now, take this poor girl to the beach! Or at least to the park! LOL!
