Description
This is the new Priest Grade,Hwy 120, one of the roads that goes into Yosemite. I drove it a couple of years ago when I stayed for a week in Groveland at my son's house. It wasn't as bad as it looks, just takes a LONG time and you go very slowly in some places. Pretty spectacular scenery as well!! Oh, the old Priest Grade is on the other side of the gorge and is even narrower and slower. I didn't try that one!

Those winding mountain roads have beautiful surprises around every turn, sometimes breathtaking, sometimes a little scary, but certainly not dull even when going slow. :) Thanks for sharing.

Wow! What an amazing view this is! Looks like old Highway 1 down the California coast in some places, if you imagine crashing seas hundreds of feet below...I love all the curves and the green hillside. Wonderful shot!
