That's how they briefly look when you feed them in the grill, albeit a bit redder (I roasted chestnuts during the holiday season last year and had to use branches to keep a fire going). A wicked effect, Mike!

An electrifying capture, Mike! I have security cameras outside the house with IR LEDs so they can "see" in the dark up to about 30 ft. There's a small stick hanging down off the roof in front of one of them, and the IR illumination on that stick makes it look like the stick is glowing brightly - a lot like this shot.
