Description

I was out on the town shooting some pics and decided to grab a coffee. While I was sitting there enjoying the weather, I thought I would shoot a couple of pics of the coffee cup to practice my food photography. Love to hear your opinion. I shot this with a Canon SX160 IS. These were being cleared out at my local Target for $119. F3.5. Shutter speed 1/60. ISO 200.

I thought so too Mike. I actually bought one for a gift for my brother and decided I wanted one as well. It has manual control and 16 megapixel lens so it is a relatively cheap point and shoot DSLR that someone can learn photography on. The pictures it take are more than good enough for the price point. I spent a few hours with my wife taking pictures today. I gave her my Canon S100 while I used the 160. We decided to go out and shoot 5 red things to practice on. It was a fun day. Next week we will be shotting anything with a rectangle.
