Description

This is why I was off the grid last week and am 100+ pages behind in my gallery comments. Sean was diagnosed with strep throat on Monday, so I went to Rachel's to stay with him. Rachel and Chris are part of the "Cell Phone" generation so there is no land line at the house and the internet connection is v-e-r-y s-l-o-w. Sean was able to go to preschool by Friday but by that time we had discovered that our 16 year old van needed a new fuel pump so I had to stay until Saturday afternoon. At least Sean is feeling better and EVERYTHING in Rachel's house has been washed, folded, put away, culled for "too small", and organized within an inch of its life. I had to leave a list of where I put things so they would be able to find stuff when I left. It is dangerous to leave me unoccupied in a house! So this post is a way to apologize to everyone for lack of comments. I'm trying to catch up but 100 pages is a lot to cover. I am looking at everything but I can't leave comments and ever hope to get through them all. Sorry.

Omgosh! This is the most adorable scene ever! I can't imagine anything more perfect than holding the most precious thing your own child will ever have. I'm glad he's well again. You'd drive me crazy if you organized my house. I never look in closets or drawers. Once something makes it to a drawer, it ceases to exist for me. Not just lost, but it never existed. It's just the way my strange memory works. I have everything carefully laid out where I can see it. My partner kept putting my toothbrush away someplace. I think sometime after the 23rd toothbrush replacement I went and bought, she stopped doing it.
