I saw these unusual purple flowers during my vacation in Switzerland. I have never seen anything exactly like them before. I think they must be a variety of coneflower, but I have not found a match yet when googling. So if any of you are certain what they are called please let me know. In the meanwhile I hope everyone is enjoying life. Thanks to all who left comments and ratings on my previous uploads. :)

Not sure but it looks like an Erngium Alpinum and this is a nice shot of it.

Fascinating! Thank you for sharing. Apparently they're not even closely classified with coneflowers, but that sure would have been my guess, too.
