Description
Another chapter from Shannara, Risca readies the druid fire against the northland army as Stedden Keep is breached.
I know this should be in the mixed medium gallery but it is 80% bryce :). Used poser low res (loads) figures for the dark creatures, one hires for Risca and painted his detail. The rain is georgeD textures the rest is bryce,,, thanks for viewing.

I may have the honour to be first with a comment on this. Excellent as ever, Andy! I love the rain and I also particularly like the textures in the stone floor. Very atmospheric.

What's not to like? You've done it again, a wonderful piece for a fabulous series. If I had to give advice (which is streching it), I'd say make some more shadowy forms behind the big guy at the castle gate. Just faint one, to indicate there really is an army out there. Oh, and thanks for making this one a little bigger. ;^)

Awesome detail and the postwork stunning...Here is what I think about folks saying all this stuff about Galleries and how Art should be in certain Galleries or it is a sin...Art is art no matter how or what program was used to make it the bottom line is it is still art.

As always, Hobbit, it's a wonderful rendition and close to my mental imagery from when I read the books! Your Pen-use doesn't bother me a bit, or your post, the only thing that bothers me is my jealousy! Beautiful artwork...
