On Morning Glory. This family of rather small flies have heavily patterned or mottled wings.

GOSH! I havent seen such a fly since i was a little girl. (If it is the same we had here, then) I remember sitting on a field not far away from my home in Copenhagen and picking flowers and I often saw thes flies. They were always wagging the wings. First the right, then the left and so on. hmmm... OH excellent shot BTW :)

Might it be Thyridanthrax fenestratus the Bee Fly?... I might be wrong there because I cannot see it's body, does it have any white markings on it's body?... either way a great find and capture.
