If you've ever heard that working at a tavern is a backbreaking job, now you know why.
And remember, October is breast cancer awareness month.
Long time, no see! I've been busily preparing my entry for this year's Halloween contest. It's tough for me, though. When I think Halloween, I think costumes and candy, not horror. CUTE is my thing. Scary is not my thing, and gory is REALLY not my thing. But, I made the best contest entry I could. One of these years...
Along the way, I made a gorgeous new character, but you'll have to wait until after Halloween to see her.

Wonderful image. As far as I'm concerned, every month is Cancer Awareness Month (it doesn't matter what type) and Yes! (sigh) she is the 'bouncer'

Oh, I thought SHE was the new character! She sure makes for an impressive security guard - if you misbehave, you get smothered to death between her not-so-secret weapons! And, as for Halloween - I agree with you, candy and child's innocence. Add a bit of a twist to this and you can get VERY creepy scenes/effects! The normal with an eerie twist is more discomfiting than a bloody, gory, living dead fantasy which everyone knows ain't real! But, all the same, I'm looking foreward to your attempt at bloody gore and guts (or whatever it is)! This image is is great - very nice, inviting. The horror in it is being suffocated to death by security. :-) Keep up the good work! :-)

Nice work. I like the lighting most of all. Though the ladies welcoming expression and gresturing is very effective tool.

Yesterday I wanted to visit the tavern but then I ran into the security ... man, I totally got stuck there and never reached the seating area ... nevermind!
