Description

These are the the beach huts on the promenade at Lyme Regis and could just be seen in yesterday's post. Lyme Regis is on the Jurassic Coast and that is signified by the fossil motifs on the lamp posts.

That is very interesting. I love to see the descriptions and learn a bit more about a photo. I love the fossil motifs on the lamp posts and the colorful beach huts.

I love the concept of having beach huts though I suppose not just anyone can have one. I find the sameness a little constricting though; it might look very interesting if people could build what they wanted with just a square footage and height limitation. It would be fun to design a beach hut to suit my own wishes.

Aha, they are not all white, as I saw them yesterday from a distance - even better in pastels ... the yellow one has very patriotic looking curtains ;P and the street lights are to die for! thanks for the close-up Jeff, BB

What I first noticed was that beautiful lanterns, Jeff. All those cabins, I like them so much, and what a long row of, with no end. I want that one with the curtains, beside the English flag. ;-)

I did notice the unique lamp posts and I like the array of colors on the doors. I like the one with the Union Jack in the windows. Easy to find that way!
