Lake the other side from yesterday post Lake Lambert (Park Mastigouche) Québec, Canada AREA INFORMATION (Saint-Alexis des monts) Réserve faunique Mastigouche (Québec, Canada) Superficie: 1 556,8 km2 La réserve faunique Mastigouche est une réserve faunique du Québec située dans les régions de la Mauricie et de Lanaudière. Comme toutes les réserves fauniques, ce territoire est voué à la conservation, à la mise en valeur et à l'utilisation de la faune ainsi qu'à la pratique d'activités récréatives. Elle n'est cependant pas considérée comme une aire protégée, les activités forestières et minières y étant permises. La réserve faunique Mastigouche est située à 95 km au nord-ouest de Trois-Rivières et à 145 km au nord-est de Montréal. On peut accéder à celle-ci par Saint-Alexis-des-Monts en Mauricie et Saint-Zénon et Mandeville dans Lanaudière. La réserve enclave la réserve écologique Marie-Jean-Eudes et la réserve de biodiversité projetée des Basses-Collines-du-Lac-au-Sorcier. Elle partage aussi ses limites avec le parc national de la Mauricie à l'est, à la zec du Chapeau-de-Paille au nord et des zec des Nymphes à l'ouest. ________________________________________ ________________________________________ Mastigouche Wildlife Sanctuary (Quebec, Canada) Superficies: 1 556,8 km2 Mastigouche Wildlife Reserve is a wildlife sanctuary located in Quebec in the Mauricie and Lanaudière . Like all wildlife reserves , this area is dedicated to the conservation, development and use of wildlife as well as recreational activities . However, it is not considered a protected area , forest and mining activities are being allowed. Mastigouche Wildlife Reserve is located 95 km northwest of Trois- Rivières and 145 km northeast of Montreal . You can access it by Saint -Alexis- des-Monts and St-Zeno Mauricie and Lanaudière in Mandeville . Reserve enclave Ecological Reserve Marie-Jean-Eudes and proposed biodiversity reserve of the Lower Collines- Sorcerer lake. It also shares its boundaries with the Mauricie National Park to the east, the ZEC du Chapeau de Paille ZEC north and west of the ZEC Nymphs. Thanks Magik
