Description
A large commercial spool of shiny/iridescent white thread I bought at the local Salvation Army today for 69 cents.......Enough to last a lifetime I think....

I see so many of your studio style shots with nice dark backgrounds. It leads me to wonder how you do this? Do you have a black screen, a light box, or do you shoot really shallow depth of field and then postwork the background to uniformity? I am very curious because I much admire the technique and it is almost a signature for your simple indoor still lifes.
